Vertical Italian Champioship

The amateur sports association Sport Race Valtellina proposes in the summer season the first edition of the Vertical Skyrace trial called "Valgerola Vertical", under the aegis of FISKY and CSEN, included in the Crazy Vertical Italy Cup circuit and a single trial of the Italian Vertical Kilometer Championship, Open and Youth A and B categories.

The starting place is the Polifunzionale di Rasura. The course covers 3.2 kilometres, almost completely on a path, within the frame of the Orobic mountains of Val Gerola, reaching the highest point at cima Rosetta, 2,150 metres (for the youth categories, the arrival is planned in the area of the Bar Bianco refuge).

The route does not present any dangerous technical sections for the competitors, who will pass along numbered paths marked by maps.
